HI there,
Thanks for all the help so far, I meant to ask this in my last post, but forgot. Is it possible for me to file or begin filing for a k1 visa whilst i am awaiting the decision on my j1 waiver of the 2 year home rule? Therefore cutting off time, I understand it could be frustrating if the waiver is denied?but if it isnt i assume it should make evrything much quicker?

I believe you can begin the K-1 process, yes. If the waiver is approved, the K-1 will be issued. Otherwise the K-1 won't be issued until your 2-year HRR is fulfilled, even if you are finished filing the paperwork ahead of time.
