K-3 Interview and Medical
I'm a little late writing this. I took advantage of the trip south to London
to visit some of my friends from my army days, who live in that area, before
I returned home.
I had my medical and interview for a K-3 visa last Wednesday, 17th of
September and the whole process was a breeze. I now have the visa and have
booked my flight on October 17th with Air France (best deal I could find)
I have just the one doubt. The interviewer told me when he handed me my
passport and visa, that I would most likely receive notice of AOS during the
two year period of the visa. Is this true, or is it my responsibility to
apply for AOS shortly after I arrive? From what I've read in here, most visa
holders do that.
Kathy and I both acknowledge that we wouldn't have got to this stage of the
proceedings so soon and so easily without the help and support we have
received from those people, who give of their time and knowledge, and post
replies to others who are in need of help in this forum. We thank you all,
each and every one.
Alfie and Kathy.

CONGRATS~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!! As for the AOS, I can't speak to how quickly you should apply, BUT I can tell you that Atlanta is one of the few (apparently) offices that allow you to file for AOS WITHOUT an approved 130, which as you know through TSC is not happening in the near future..............
