K-1 interview in Romania-- should we both be present?
I have a fiancée in Romania and have already received an Approval Notice of the
I-129F. The consulate in Bucharest has received the necessary information and has
sent my fiancée a packet which has been filled out and returned. We have not yet
however, scheduled an interview date. Can anyone tell us if I should be present at
the interview and/or if my presence would help? Also, we can not reach the embassy by
phone to schedule the interview. Is e-mail the only way?
Any info on the interview would be of great help. Anyone else here trying to get a
fiancée visa for a Romanian?

Hi Glenn, Congrats! My wife is from Romania and she had her interview this past April
in Bucharest. I was not there, and from what I understood, it was actually better
that I wasn't in our case. and since it was a K1 interview, she said it went very
well, and she was treated very nicely. (very different than when applying for a
visitor visa at that embassy). I corresponded with that embassy via email and always
received prompt responses.
Good luck and... Romanian women are the best , aren't they? :) LOL
If you need more info on her actual interview, send me an email.
Take care!
