Hiya,
I need some clarification about US joint sponsors. My son and his wife said they will be sponsors for my British husband. Will their incomes be combined to make up the amount required in the guidelines? Or do they each have to make the required amount for their household size?

If one of them earns enough, then that person will be the joint sponsor and will complete an I-864.
If they need both incomes to meet the income level, then one does an I-864 and the spouse does an I-864A as a contributing household member.
