Irish Wife of US citizen
Hi all,
This is my first time posting here.
I'm in Ireland, and my US citizen husband is in the US right now.
We are trying to do the right things to bring me to the US- does anyone here know if we can do Direct Consular Filing in Dublin and what sort of timeframe we would be looking at? I'd appreciate any information on this.
Thanks.

But I think you'll find that Dublin requires a specific kind of genuine residency in Ireland before allowing the USC to file there--it's a numbers game and there are a lot of Irish with family ties to the US.
Our one attempted Irish DCF here *was* genuinely resident, but didn't have the "right" type of residency permit and was not allowed to file abroad. Her nickname here is Buendia and she would up doing a K-3 visa with her Irish spouse.
