Hi all - I sent in the notification of applicant readiness last week to indicate that we are ready for our interview.
I am finishing off today the massive stack of documentation and I have been staring at it so long it's hard for me to tell at this point if we are missing anything.
If possible, can someone have a scan through to see if we am missing anything to put my mind at ease?
It would be much appreciated.
(as a bit of background I am US / UK dual citizen, DH is UK citizen. we are applying DCF through London. Son is dual US / UK citizen, didnt know if I needed to include his info like passport ect)
This is what I've got:
1. Appointment letter (waiting for)
2. DS-230 part 2 (unsigned)
3. Birth certificates
*DH (long form) + photocopy
*Me + photocopy
*Son + photocopy
4. Passports
*DH + photocopy of photo page
*Me (both US / UK?) + photocopy of photo page
*Son (both US / UK?) + photocopy of photo page
5.Marriage Certificate + photocopy
6.Divorce Decree (me) + photocopy
7. I-864 (filled in by me - self employed petitioning sponsor)
*cover letter?
*Proof of current income 2010 - spreadsheet + invoices
*2009 tax return
*2008 tax return
*2007 tax return
*Bank statements showing assets in US and UK accounts
8. I-864 (filled in by my dad - Joint Sponsor just in case)
*2009 tax return
*SS letter detailing monthly deposits
*Employment letter including current salary
*photocopy of his passport photo page
9. DH UK Police Certificate + photocopy

11. DH Medical Exam receipt + photocopy
12. Domicile Proof
*US Bank statements showing active accounts + balances
*Mail addressed to me at US address
*US Voter record
*US Driver License
*Son school applications + interview letter + flights to go to interview.
*Applications for son school sliding scale tuition.
*Lease + deposit payment for holiday apartment while finding accommodation.
*Contract + deposit payment to relocation agent for apartment finding services. (Contract clearly states that for the fee we retain their services until an apartment has been found and we have signed a lease. Emails indicate it will take less time than the Holiday apartment rental listed above.)
*Emails requesting information about driving lessons / license for husband.
*Emails regarding shipping quotes, though we have no concrete quotes yet.
*Print emails to clients notifying of move back to US?
13. Passport Photos of DH
Thank you much.
I think I unfortunately have killed a small tree in the process of printing everything off.

Hiya
Just looking at your documentation, you don't need to bring your birth certificate or naturalisation certificate. Unless you're using your birth certificate as proof of your citizenship in order to get into the embassy. I'm a dual too and when I went with my husband to his interview, I just showed my american passport. Also there is an order to which they ask for documents you may want to read some recent interview experiences. I don't remember exactly but I think I copied You want Fries With That's experience as it was pretty much the same.
I also don't think you'll need copies of the passport photo pages for any of you as once you get to the window they will only need your husband's passport as he is the only intending immigrant.
I took two folders one of stuff I knew they would ask for and one of stuff just in case, i.e. my birth certificate, my passport, husband's medical info and receipt.
Good Luck, I know how nerve wracking it can be.

The domicile stuff you have all looks great, you may want to get a quote from a shipping company as that halps too. Also, school info for your son ie leaving school here going to school there. I will also mirror what katnap says and they don't require copies of the passports (only need a copyof the passport/ birth cert of the joint sponsor)
