Default Intro on me and where I am in this nutty process!

Hey guys/gals! I am Ansley from Georgia and my hubby and I are about to file our I-751 to remove the conditions on his greencard. I HATE even thinking about dealling w/ TSC again after batteling w/ them a couple of years ago while filing for our K-1.
I do have a question though......
My husband has a passport, but he doesnt really need that now does he if he has his Greencard!? His passport has expired. What if anything do we need to do w/ that!?
I look forward to learning more about this stage of the Immigration journey. Im sooooo ready to not have to deal with them for 10yrs.

Well, if his passport is expired, it isn't an issue unless he wants to
go somewhere. If he needs it renewed, he should contact his nearest
consulate. The passport is not needed to remove the conditional status
of his residency.

Sorry to hear you in Georgia but I suppose somebody has to pick those lovely peaches for us....No you don't have to renew it if he never wants to leave the country again....But surely he will may want to return sometime to his home country to see friends relatives etc, You may want a vacation abroad. Unless he of course intend to get naturalized at the appropiate time..

Welcome to the the asylum from a fellow GA resident!!! He DOES need a passport if he want to leave the US and come back again. The green card only shows what his status is as an alien, it won't get him back in the US if you go abroad.
I know how you feel about TSC, we still have a loooooooooooooonnnnnng way to go with them for my husband's 130.
