Default Interview waiting time for Montreal K3

I have spoken on the telephone with someone at the Montreal Consulate
four times. The first time she said it would be 1-2 months. The
second time it was 2-3 months. The third time it was 3-5 months. The
fourth time it was "probably March or April." Today it was "looking
like end of April or into May."

They recieved my full package (for a K3) back on January 19th. The
originally recieved my information packet from the US on December 5th,
2005.

The internet keeps saying a wait period between 28-36 days, depending
on the week.

Is this normal? Do the people that answer the phone know anything at
all? Am I being bumped for favours and expedited business visas? Is
there anything I can do to help speed this interview up?

Is anyone else waiting for an interview in Montreal..if so, what is
your timeline?

Thanks for any help.

Based on another sites timelines from real people going thru Montreal it is about 3 months from last packet to interview date.

Average days between consulate receiving info from NV and interview, approx 88 days.

Is anyone aware of any other discussion boards that deal with
immigration based on marriage? Not to take anything away from this
one...it has been a big help, but I was wondering if there is another
with more Canadians...to maybe give some insight into the timing of the
interview. The "Visa Journey" wait times is based on 4 interviews in
2005 with 2 more pending. The average time has come and gone...the
help line in Montreal is all over the calender with there predictions,
and I just do not trust their answers anymore. If it is so hard to get
an interview, there must be others out there that are waiting for their
time in Montreal, or maybe have just had theirs. Anyone?
