Hi
Thanks for all help/ contributors to my previous queries I'm very greatful. Apologies in advance if I'm going over old ground here.
IVe just recieved my interview date for the embassy. I'm compiling all evidence and commendation that I will need. Such as passport birth certificate etc.
Firstly will my wife be allowed to come into embassy with me ? Letter only has my name on it? So I'm assuming not. I was hoping she would be able to come along for support as I know I'll be super nervous.
Secondly I am being joint sponsored by my wife and brother in law. My wife still lives here in UK with me and our 2 children. We have copies of her brothers tax returns etc but I just read on a previous post that the embassy prefer a letter from his employer ? If so what detail does this letter need to include ?
Do I need to take along my wife's uk payslips ? As she still living here , her US earning are $0 .
I'm aware that my wife needs to prove her intent of Domicile in the US as we intend to leave at same time "if " I get a visa! So I'm just after a few ways of proving this ? She is a nurse so was thinking maybe she can join a recruitment agency to show her desire to obtain employment? We have already contacted a school about enrolment but our children are only 2 so are too young to be placed on a list? Also I was told in a previous post that to sign a rental agreement would be good. My concern with this is, what if I don't get a visa and my wife is tied in with a lease ? Is it sufficient to have a letter from a letting agent that shows we have contacted them about rentals in their area?
Do I need to provide bank statements to show our savings etc?

You can ask for your wife to join you by using the embassy online contact form.
If your wife has current pay slips, then her earnings are not zero. That said, no, you don't need those.
Letter from brother in law's work is not readied but could be helpful.
You mention having brother in law's tax returns, but just to make sure, he's also filled out an I-864, right? And so has your wife, right?

You are on the right track with showing intent to domicile. Whatever shows cutting ties to UK and establishing ties to USA. Nothing has to be final. You can show evidence of house-hunting, for example. You don't have to show a signed lease.
You only need to show bank statements if your wife is using assets on her I-864. But since there is a joint sponsor, I'm assuming there's not enough cash in the bank to qualify. In which case, you don't need to show statements.

Does anyone know if I can request that my wife attends the interview with me?
If so how do I go about doing this? Is there an online form?
Thanks
