Default Interview Letter

Hello there,

Unsure if the process has changed however I have my interview booked with the London embassy for the 20th of march and I have yet to receive a letter.

Should I be concerned at this point? I have printed out the online confirmation as well as courier details and have been told to take that with me however in the instructions it says alongside the consulate letter.

Unsure if they still send them or if I'm worrying a bit?

Phew - thanks Lanyu, I'm comparing it to a friend who also moved after marrying last year and he had his a month before but then his wife was USAF so I believe it was expedited a tad!

Hi alexl, I attended my interview on Feb 15th and I can honestly say I never received a letter from the embassy (may have got lost on the way) . I only realised this when I read the small print on the morning of my interview and I was freaking out but lucky my wife has a calming influence on her 6ft 19st hubby !
I needn't have worried as I just took my courier conformation print out and obviously had my passport , the lovely young ladies at the stand in front of embassy had my name on a list and told me to come back them 15 minutes before my scheduled interview time (ignore the other long lines of people as the are lines for visitor visas and just head for the stand with the 2 people on).
I duly turned up as told and had my name checked off the list and proceeded to security and went on to be approved , good luck with your interview . James

I went for a K-1 interview and whilst I did have an interview letter, I noticed others didn't.

The people that didn't have one didn't have any issue getting in.

I wouldn't worry about it if it doesn't arrive, just be sure to take everything you do have.
