Hey guys, thanks to all those of you who have suggested emailing the London Embassy following the return of the Packet 3 forms, to find out if an interview date had been set.
I returned my forms back on 7th July, and this morning I decided to email the Embassy before going to work to ask if an interview date had been set. By lunchtime I had a reply and the good news is that the interview has been set for Monday 2nd August!!!! Just perfect for me actually!
Enough time to make sure I have all my documents ready and in a good order.
Thanks for suggesting I send an email Maria! I love you!!
Congratulations to all those others who have secured dates recently for their interviews, and of couse those who have been successful at them!!
Bye for now, from one delighted Essex Boy!

Congratulations!!!
I'm a little upset - noone else from the forum that I know of has an interview on 30th July!
Oh, shame, I wanted to put faces to names!

Aww, you're welcome honey!!!
They're good in answering e-mails considering you only sent it this morning!!!
Hey guys, just when I thought all we had to do was wait for the big moment, my fiance caught an error in the letter I got from the bank, they put "Mrs" .
I guess the only thing I can do is request another identical letter as I already had the I-134 notarized!! :-(
Oh well!!!

Funny enough, my fiancee's bank did the same mistake with her letter instead of Ms.

I'm wondering if it really matters

Yes she had to change things 4 times. We typed out the letter the way we wanted it and asked them to do it in that way. They made some minor changes and gave a letter to our satisfaction.

I will send him another letter and maybe he can explain it at the interview!

Update
I went to the bank this morning and asked them to do another letter and they did -no questions asked!
I did take a copy of the original letter to make it easier for them

I guess I was lucky emailing at 7.23am and getting a reply by about 11am. Have a go and see what happens on Monday!! Good luck, and try not to worry!

Come back and let us all know if it worked!
Bye for now, Ian
