I have recieved my interview date for a marriage based visa. The paperwork has told me to bring along all sorts of paperwork (they want more evidence for the financial part) however at the interview they only want to see me not my wife? I assumed that they would want to see both of us to check that the relationship was legit etc etc. Is this common? Shall I assume that they are happy with the relationship and are more interested in collecting the outstanding evidence?

But could you tell me what the time was between filing readiness for your interview and actually getting your interview date?
Thanks

Your spouse is not typically interviewed as part of the IR1 process. It is down to you to convince the officer of the genuine nature of your marriage by answering questions convincingly and providing proof such as photos.

Yup, I agree with previous posters. You may hear people processing through different countries say that it helped their case to bring their spouse. However, in London that's really the last thing they want and in fact it takes special advance permission to even bring them into the building with you. Provided your documentation is in order and speaks for itself, the interview is for little more than to verify that you are who you and your documentation say you are.
