Default Infopass , I-751 Waiver approved in March , still no GC

Hello guys
Here I am again. As most of you know , my I-751 Waiver was approved on March 3rd 2009 but as of today I still have not gotten my GC. I made an infopass to find out what is going on and also my stamp is expiring in a week . My question is why is it taking so long to get the GC? The officer told me 4-6 weeks. Oh well. The wait is on again LOL

Lostlove, yes that's why I am going there to basically get a new stamp. but why is it taking so long? When my I-485 got approved I got my GC in like less than a week.

Because as I said it happens and it could well be sitting on the officers desk still, and has not been submitted yet, it like my change of name on my card took 6 months, for some 10days, no one knows the answer to this question you can semis all you like it won't answer it until you get there and ask whens the infopass date!

If you're not out of status, then why are you so anxious about when your GC will arrive? It'll arrive when it gets there! Meantime, you're still a PR with all the rights and responsibilities of that status.

Because I am planning on traveling to Europe. Stamp is expiring so maybe that is the why I want my 10 year card.

Ah... so the expiring stamp is your main concern, not necessarily why the GC hasn't yet arrived! Okay... now I understand. You can always get a stamp in your passport as long as you have proof of travel.
