I130 approved- now what
INS on line says I was approved 11/1. First NOA June 15th. No approval
for I129F sent to MSC beginning of August. Gee. This is a shock. I
have felt so left out reading of the approvals of others and now I'm
in. To all who are waiting- you will not be far behind me. It WILL
happen. You WILL be together soon and for the rest of your lives. I
love you all for your sharing, for your suffering and for your
support. Whenever I began to doubt, or to fear, I came here. And
even when this is all over for me, I will not forget the support I
received here, though I was merely a passive reader of your tales. We
are all now experts in the INS process. I am thankful to all of you.
Let me tell you something...if a fat, old Gringo can find love and a
wonderful, beautiful wife in the Dominican Republic, especially when
he wasn't even looking, and succeed in getting her here, anyone can do
anything. And, thanks to everyone here, my paperwork was PERFECTO!
Not one error, not one omission. I feel like I could sell my knowedge
and skill now, but I won't. I'm going to give it away, as you all did
and do. You know, when you wait so long for something, when you have
shed what you thought was your last tear, and then one day you look,
out of rote, expecting nothing, at your mail or on line and there is a
big YES, you are indeed shocked. "I must have put in the wrong receipt
number." But there it is. And then you are saying, "Oh, sh**! What
do I do now? This isn't the way this is supposed to go! Now I have
to do I130s for the kids, and fast!" I'm sorry that I am rambling,
but I am overcome and I am crying as I write this. What a pleasure to
be crying tears of joy and relief. You will be, too...soon. Thanks,
and I'll be thinking of you. Bob.
