When i applied for my hubby he was in the states. I was a PR, I upgraded my app in sep and my lawyer sent in updated BIO data form to let them know that he is no longer in the U.S. but my I130 approval notice says that your app indicates that he is here and u need to go to the local office to do adj of status or send in I824 so that we can forward the app to NVC. It sucks.. has n e one ever gone through this... can some one please give me some info... i don't know how much longer it will take now... i though we were off to NVC>>>> and now this

Check at https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp? (Include the ?
in the address) for your processing center. Texas is a full year away from
processing this request. Can you get him back into the states? Seems like
any family visa takes years to complete, but only a few months for almost
anything else. The US govt doesn't like families.
