Hi,

I am filing for the K1 visa for my fiancee, and I had a few questions that I am
confused about. I am a US citizen by way of naturalization, and my fiancee is in
India. She's never been to America.

----G325A Questions-----
1. What should I enter in the "FILE NUMBER A-" field in the G325A ? What should my
fiancee be entering in the same field in her form ?

2. At the bottom of the form, in the heavy bold APPLICANT box, what should I enter
for the Alien Registration Number ? Since I am a citizen, I have returned my green
card at the time of naturalization, so do I need to enter my old Green Card number
here ? What should my fiancee enter here - she's never been to America, so she has
no such numbers !

----I-129F Question------

3. For question 9, "Alien Registration Number (if any)", what should I put in ? I
have the same doubt as in the above question - since I am a citizen now (and no
longer a resident alien), is an "alien registration number" applicable to me ?

I am really confused about this and dont want to make any mistakes while filling
these forms out. Could someone please help me with this ?

Thanks a whole lot in advance. Carl

I'd go ahead and enter it in every blank where it is asked, each time writing "now
naturalized" or "now citizen" in small print next to it, just to avoid confusion, but
I would definitely enter it.

Each time she finds a number that she does not have, such as social security or
A-number, she should write "none." You might find the Doc Steen site's section on the
k-1 visa helpful, and there are sample completed forms in the forms section that may
also help.

So do you suggest that I put in my alien registration number even for the question
"FILE NUMBER A-" in the G325A form ?

Thanks for your prompt response.
