I129F Approved
My wife, still living in Berlin, has received her visa instructions packet.
I'm headed back over there for the holidays but was wondering about any time
sensitive items in the packet. Her english is nominal and we're worried
that we might not do something as timely as what's required. Anyone?

There is a time limit on the visa application, but it is a pretty generous limit. If you are going to be there for the holidays, and she has only just received packet 3, I wouldn't worry too much. You could just go through it once you arrive in Germany.
Alternatively, if it is really panicking you, you could go to the US Consulate website specific to your application (I'm guessing Berlin). Not only will they give you a list of the documents required, but you will be able to download them yourself and fill them in before you go to Germany. That way there will be no question about the translation.

Good luck and have a good visit

As a recent FRN tourist (though on a K1) I don't think that there is anything time sensitive in the packet your wife received. The actual timeframe for contacting the consulate should be 4 months...
One of the forms (I guess it's the DS-230 Part 1) is essential for the Consulate (as far as I know this will be the Frankfurt consulate, no matter if you are doing a K1 or K3) to open a file. Your wife might (or might not) want to send it back to the consulate as soon as possible.
Oh, by the way, you can forget about the time frame for the medical given in the instructions- it will be perfectly okay to have it on the same day (there is some "6 weeks before planned departure" period given in the instructions)...
My Frankfurt experience was a very very pleasant one- and I would recommend it to anyone around .
Good luck- and "viele Gruesse nach Berlin".
Rebecca.
