I need help for serious situation
From the responses on this group it does not seem like a genuine support group
for people in trouble. I am looking for information so that I may help a new
found Hispanic friend who is in a horrible situation. He is illegal and his
child is being abused by his American wife.
This man speaks very little English and even though I took Spanish for three
years in high school I cannot understand much of what he says.
He is desperate, afraid for his child, asking me for advice. His wife talked
him into moving from California to Alabama. He has no support system here, no
friends family or anything.
I feel I must get him to someone that can help but I do not have the slightest
idea what to do since I cannot call the authorities.
Please someone be kind enough to email me who I should ask for advice or point
me to the web site of someone who might can help. thank you

It's not intended to be.
Given that this man is illegal, the best that you can do is find out how
to help the child. The man's illegality is something he'll have to deal
with.
