I have some questions to ask regarding H1B
Lets say I have a H1B visa and I am currently working for a company.
Now lets say I have found another job, can I switch from the first job to
the second ?
What is the immigration and legal implication of such actions ?
What will happen to my H1B visa ?
Will they cancel my original H1B visa ?
Do I need to re-apply for my H1B over again ?
Thanks

Do I need to re-apply for my H1B over again ?

1) If you are in status - get an H1B transfer . Your new wemployer
needs to file for that . You can start working for the new employer as
soon as you get the INS file number .
2) u can switch over once you get the INS file number .
3) will get a new I-797
4) next time you go out of usa, get a new stamp
Regards

Yes, if the prospective employer has filed the proper documents with the
INS.
> What is the immigration and legal implication of such actions ?
I'm not sure what you are getting at. It's certainly legal; people do it
all the time.
> What will happen to my H1B visa ?
Many people who use the word "visa" really mean something like "status."
The visa is the actual stamp in the passport. Nothing will happen to that.
If it is valid, you may leave the U.S. and enter again with the approval
notice for your new H-1B status. You do not have to get a new H-1B visa
stamp until the first one has expired.
> Will they cancel my original H1B visa ?
No, if you mean the actual H-1B visa.
If by "visa" you really mean "status," in this question, INS does not cancel
an old H-1B petition unless the employer requests it. Theoretically, if the
old employer does not cancel its petition, you could work for the new
employer for awhile, and then switch back to the old employer without
further paperwork being done.
> Do I need to re-apply for my H1B over again ?
Not sure what you mean by this. You do not have to apply for new H-1B visa
stamp in the passport until the previous one has expired.
