Ok Now that my I-130 I have some questions. Mark and I have decided to do AOS VS taking the IV route, We are going to Spain to visit my family not to deal with immigration issues.. so what do I do now?, shall I file the I-485?, what if I get called for an interview while I am in Spain??, I have been told that now that the I-130 is approved it won't take too long for me to get an AOS interview?, Oh my I can't believe I am talking about AOS!!

Wouldn't it be great if you could get the IV action together while you're already over there?! I wonder if you couldn't coddle Madrid into helping you out? You might have to stay an extra couple of weeks, but I'll be you'll be glad for Mama's home cooking anyway (ramen?!).

I got my I-130 approved in July but havent filed my I-485 as I dont want to have to apply for advance parole before we go home to Ireland for Christmas (3 weeks at home - cant wait). Also I dont want to apply for my I-485 until I get my EAD as there is no point being here if I cant work and afford to live. Just a quick question about your congressman, after I got denied my temp EAD I contacted our local rep but they say it will take at least 45 days before their request for information will even be processed, did you come up against this too? I would really appreciate your help - I am going out of my mind not working, I have run out of things to clean in my house and if I reorganize the kitchen one more time so my husband cant find the cereal I think he may kill me - LOL.

There is only 4 very old AOS experiences (1998-1999)
A year ago I was in Spain waiting on my I-129 and now I am almost ready to AOS, CPR status I am coming baby!! lol

Filing AOS does not void your K3 visa.. so even if you filed you still could have left the country on the K3!, I am sorry to hear you didn't know that.
Why don't you apply for the EAD?? It'll be a while until you get your CPR or PR status!!.
As for the 45 day rule.. I don't know.. My congressman worked pretty fast. PM me if you need anything else
Whatever you do, don't re-arrange the kitchen again
