Default I-94 question

Hi,

I was married to a USC in the year 2002. Before that I was working on H1 B, my H1b expired last year Sep. I have received an EAD last june through my marriage to USC. I applied a renewal got it this year April which is valid till April 2005. I have a AOS interview on Jan 11 2005, my question since my I-94 is expired will I have any problems. I was never out of status from 97. One more question is it wise to apply for another extension for EAD just in case some thing goes wrong with the interview. I fall under NYC area, it is taking almost 6 months for the EAD extension. Any helpful advice will be really appreciated. You guys are doing a great job in this forum. BTW I have filed my case in Nov 2002.

It sounds to me like you are ok with everything and wait until your interview in January. Hopefully they will give you the stamp in your visa showing your PR status.

Good Luck!
