Default I-864 tax scripts

Hi

When ordering copies of past tax scripts from the IRS is the computer generated report satisfactory (is free and takes 10 days) or does it need to be the full copy of the return with W-2 etc (costs $23 to get and takes 60 days to get)?

thanks

Pete

We sent the free computer generated report and photocopies of previous three years W2's, no decision on my AOS yet. I think a lot of people have sent the "free report" without a problem.

NYC USCIS specifically "requests" the tax transcripts in lieu of your copy of a filed tax return. They want to see the actual IRS generated transcript as proof of your filing and income. I have noted over the years that many district offices ask for this as well. So it would be a safe "bet" to assume it would be acceptable by your office. I've also included a photocopy of our W-2's with the transcripts.
