Have you read the I-864 instructions? The questions you've asked in this thread are clearly answered in the instructions.

Yes Jeff I have read the i-864 instructions which clear state that if you provide photocopies of your tax returns that you must also include a copy of every form W2 and form 1099.

Hi Rene
Now we,re moving into a different area where I get to ask more stupid questions sorry!!
If may tax returns have only been sent to the IRS I would consider them as incomplete as I haven,t received any confirmation of acceptance yet.So what your saying to me is I can send in just photocopies of my prepared tax returns without any W2,s or IRS official stamps.

Thanks Adrian

Correct, because those are part of the entire tax return. Since your income was earned overseas, you probably won't have a W2 or 1099 to submit, but you'll have whatever form you were issued that shows your year-end earnings (for the UK, that form starts with the letter P).

And you probably won't receive any sort of confirmation of acceptance.

Correct.

...without any W2,s ...
No. You still need the equivalent of a W2 (if in the UK, it starts with a P, it's your year-end earnings summary statement).

...or IRS official stamps.
Correct, no IRS official stamps are required.

We use a p60 or a p21 end of year balancing statement which states your earnings after refunds its a little more detailed. The I-864 also states that if you filed late tax returns with the IRS that you must attach an IRS-genarated tax return transcript documenting your late filing before submitting the I-864, I think I,ll just divorce the wife less complicated,

Thanks Adrian

Nah, don't divorce.

Just go to the interview with the photocopies that you have. You should be fine.
