Default I-751 waiver still no news :-(

It's going to be a year in 2 months since I have filed. I contacted my attorney if we should take any action. He says not really it might take longer then a year. Anyone with any advice what should I Do?

1. Keep waiting.

2. Apply for citizenship when you're eligible.

3. You could contact your congressman or senator and see if they can find anything else out, but my guess is they will also just tell you "it's pending'.

I agree with #1 and #2. #3, as Rene herself indicates, is a waste of time and effort.

Where did you file? My wife's I-751 sat at the NSC for a year and a week before being transferred to the CSC on 4/21, after which it was approved in about 3 weeks on 4/18.

Regards, JEff

It most certainly was not a waste of time for me they got my details and my case was transfered and an interview booked within 14 days.

Thank you guys for your answers, Jeff I filed with Texas Service Center back in June but in Sept. it was transfered to CSC . Never heard anything since then. I guess I am just going to wait for another month and then contact my congressman. The waiting is killing me, and I am moving in August which may make it even more difficult ughhhh:curse:

I knew CSC was fast from our experience, but going-back-in-time fast?

They are worth going to and talking to face to face. Even if you see them a couple of times a week. They know who to contact etc. And rather than you having to make all the phonecalls, someone calls you about your status. Worked for me too, regarding boring paperwork a few years ago.
