Default I-751 VSC for those who are waiting

I have just received the following email:

Receipt Number: EAC [REDACTED]

Application Type: CRI89 , CONDITIONAL RESIDENCE I-89 CARD RECEIVED AT SERVICE CENTER

Current Status:

On November 8, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new
card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Here is my timeline:

July 18: Application and supporting paperwork sent.
August 3: NOA1 received
September 14: Biometrics Appointment Notice received
October 4: Biometrics Appointment
November 8: Approved

Next stop - Naturalization. Although I have a few months to relax and not worry about dealing with the USCIS.

Are I-751 biometrics just a thumbprint or whatever, or is it all 10 fingers? Just curious as I have a huuuuuuuge cut on one of my fingers... hope it doesnt delay it

For my I-751 Biometrics it was just one finger - the thumb on my right hand, I think.

I got my Permanent Resident card today, so yours should be arriving soon, violator_dm. It doesn't expire until 2016. The photo is the photo they took on 8/22/06 at my Biometrics appointment.

On the bottom of my NOA Biometrics sheet received today, it states on the bottom "If you have open wounds or bandages/casts when you appear, the USCIS may reschedule your appointment if it is determined your injuries will interfere with taking your biometrics"

Thanks. I can't wait. We have a little over 6 months to relax before the final "battle."

I realize this, which is why I was asking how many fingers it is - so I can figure out if it WILL interfere
