Default I-751 at TSC

I was wondering if there were some people who filed their I-751 at TSC and
recently got their checks cashed or NOAs. It would be helpful information to
some of us waiting to have their I-751s keyed into the system, know whether
or not they have their system for I-751s fixed. That is if the NOAs having
started coming out of that place.

Thanks in Advance.

Yes keep this post alive. I talked to someone at BCIS today again and
they told me they have 800 plus apps for I-751 in their system. Still
no clue or hint as to when it will end.

We sent in 2 separate 1-751 packages to TSC. The first one was sent 3
months ago....
basically our 90-day window has disappeared and my wife's Green Card has
expired
without any word(notice, cashed check etc) from the TSC.
Naturally I was "peeved", so I contacted my US Senator's office,
figuring they would
have better luck contacting them than I would. They did, and basically
this is the story:
You and I and hundreds and perhaps thousands of other people are in the same
situation.
TSC basically has simply chosen to "do nothing" with the I-751 applications
except let
them pile up for several months. The story is "They want to concentrate on
approving
I-751s that were received last year", so they aren't even bothering to start
officially processing
any new I-751 applications. It's really hard to send out form letters
and cash checks,
you know............... However, they must have been looking at
something, because according
to my Senator's office there is a "list" of the names and Alien Registration
number's of people
whose I-751s are "in the pile". My wife's name was on the list, so they
say.
How long will this BS go on? Only TSC knows, and they aren't telling.
I suggest you
contact your local Congress-person's office about this to see if they can
find the name of your
spouse on the list at TSC, but make sure you give them an earfull about how
"efficient" the
TSC is.

If you don't mind my asking, what country is the spouse from?? We were
told they were
not responding to any new I751s for the time being. We've been waiting 3
months for an
NOA or a cashed check. We know another couple from our area who sent in
their
I751 to TSC the same day we sent ours(over 3 months ago). They received
NOA a
week after........ the spouse(husband) is Belgian. My wife is from
Indonesia. I am just
wondering if there is any kind of pattern to what is going on at TSC.

I sent my I-751 petition to remove conditional status to TSC on 15
April 2003, it arrived 16 April 2003 (Express Mail to BCIS, TSC, P.O.
Box 850965, Mesquite, TX 75185-0965), my check was cashed and the bank
account was debited on 24 April. I received the NOA this afternoon (28
April). So, it took 13 days from the time I mailed the petition to the
time I receive the NOA.

My application was sent from Florida (where I live) to the Texas
Service Center and I am a Canadian married to an American.

It seems that there is a large disparity among the processing times
among applicants. I wonder if BCIS is flagging applicants from certain
countries? I hope this information helps.

Thanks Canuck. I do believe that you are right about BCIS flaggin
folks from some countries. Although they lie about so called "
computer glitch" affecting only I-751 applicants that has been going
on for three plus months. Never believed it for a second it was true.
