Default I-751 transferred from Vermont to California

I got an email from USCIS this morning. Apparently, my I-751 has been transferred to the California Service Center. Is this bad news?

The website says it is taking 6 months to process, which is about what I would have had left to wait at Vermont, where I originally sent it.

Has this happened to anyone else?
