I-751 - Texas Office
Anyone going through the Texas office? I have a receipt date of July 31st 2003 on my I-751. According the website they are now processing cases with Dates of August 25th 2003. I still haven't heard anything. Just wondering if anyone else was going through the Texas/Charlotte offices and had made any progress??
Thanks,
Mo

Re: I-751 - Texas Office
Yes am also going through Texas/Charlotte office because am in Raleigh, NC, but my I751 NOA date is 10/8/03, still waiting.
It seems if your date is July 31 your application may have been sent to the local office for an interview because they passed your date long time ago.
As you still with your spouse? If so, dont worry the interview should be OK.
Please advice.

Is your spouse ready to go to interview with you if you are called for interview?
I also separated, and waiting for a decision too.

Winston-Salem.
I called the helpline and they suggested going to Charlotte and getting my passport stamped for an extension, seeing as I haven't heard anything yet and the I751 is good for a year in terms of travel and work authorisation, I think? not entirely sure to be honest.

I don't think that date is accurate. I reckon TSC is further behind than that.

Hi NC Penguin. I attend NCCU on Fayetteville Street.
I think on the next update of I751s we should see some closer dates on I751s maybe Sept or Oct.
I will tell you guys if I hear from TSC though am concerned no one from TSC has recently heard from them or got a decision.

The updates were flying along on their website, and now it's at a standstill. August 18th was the last update on their website. Was being updated every 2 weeks. I've always heard people say how things slow down around election time. But I have no idea of how true that is.

I doubt this has to do with elections.

I-751 - Texas Office / BCIS Charlotte, NC
TSC Charlotte Office
NOA dated first week of March, 2003
Enquired with national service center after one year and 2 months from the date of NOA. They instructed me thru a letter to contact Charlotte Office. Contacted Charlotte Office BCIS and set an appointment for interview. You can set appointment on www.infopass.uscis.gov, by the way. We had a joint (with spouse) interview for I-751 in first week of July, 2004. Officer took 2 photographs and an index finger print and told us that once, I send the requisite documents, she will communicate the decision in 30 days and I can collect my card from the desk outside after presenting the letter. During the interview, the officer gave us a letter instructing us to comply with the points as mentioned in the letter with a notice period of 90 days for submission of these documents. Interview was OK. Submitted the documents thru post in 10 days. It is over 2 months after the interview and we havnt heard anything from Charlotte Office yet. I am not sure, whether they will approve my case!! God knows...still waiting.

Mrd had to submit some documents regarding criminal activity that is what is holding the approval or might even cause a denial.

Aguila thanks for pointing that out; that can cause big time problems.
Has anyone ever seen statistics about what % of I751s get interviewed?
