I-751 (removal of conditions) at CSC: Update
Hi Everybody,
My I-751 was approved by CSC, and here it is the timeline:
Mailed the I-751 on 5/23/02
Received NOA on 5/30/02
Approval on 10/24/02 without interview
I went to Los Angeles District Office to hand in the ADIT pictures, relinquish
my old greencard, and get the stamp on my passport. I just showed up at 9:00
AM at the right entrance, went to room 2050, and had to wait for about 40
minutes for the entire process. The good news are that you do not have to be
there at a ridiculous hour to wait on line; just show up around 8 or 9 AM with
your notice and that's all. They have a especial window for the I-751, and
there's not many people there.
Now, I just have to wait for the plastic card!
Good luck to everybody!!
Mona

Congratulations!
For others going into the main 300 Los Angeles Street entrance -- do NOT assume there will be no wait. This true about 80% of the time. At other times, the line can go around the corner. I've noted no rhyme or reason for this except that Mondays or Fridays tend to be bad days.
