I-751 Letters of Support - Notarized??
I'm a bit confused about notarization for the letters of support required on the Removal of Conditions. The application says to submit the "Initial Evidence":
"affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted, etc.,)
However, no where does it mention that the affidavit should be notarized, but I'm seeing on other related marriage/visa pages that it MUST be notarized.
So, must the sworn affidavits be notarized - or not?

It is my understanding from the postings of Mr. Udall and Mr. Folinskyinla that notarization is not a requirement, although if you wish to do so, by all means do so. The letter could simply start with the words:
I, John Smith, hereby swear (or substitute "affirm") that I have known Betsy and Henry Blueballs since January 2, 2000 and on several occasions I have had dinner at their home, shared blah blah blah ...

Remember that these letters ARE NOT REQUIRED as stated by the original
poster. The instructions for the form I-751 just list this as ONE TYPE of
evidence to support the petition.
We just successfully completed the I-751 process and DID NOT submit letters
from friends/relatives.
