Default I-751 filing for removal of conditions. URGENT questions!!!!

Dear friends,
We are about to file for the removal of conditions and have some last
minute questions. My USC wife is my sponsor. Here are the questions:

1) We have all of the utility bills, including gas, electric and
phone. However we are missing one or two of each since we have lived
together. During moving they got misplaced. We have, however, 90% of
them. Is it absolutely important to attain the ones missing by
contacting the specific companies or would the ones we have be
sufficient??

2) My wife does not have good credit. I have 5 credit cards. Her name
appears on the invoice of two of them. She has supplemental cards for
4 of them, in her name. The question is do I need to include ALL the
copies of ALL of my credit card bills for the past 3 years? OR only
the ones which has my wife's name on the invoice? OR the ones which
have her name on the invoice plus the ones for which she has
supplemental cards??

3) Do I need to copy all the pages of the bills or just the front page
would be sufficient? In case of credit cards, I could include the
transaction page too.??

4) We have filed our taxes together for the past three years. I will
be including a copy of those. Do I still need to include a copy of
each of my pay stub for the last three years? Or the tax copies are
sufficient? I could include a letter from my employer confirming the
status of my employment.?

5) Only my wife's name is on the title of our car. However, both of
our names appear on the insurance policy. Is it better if both our
names are on the car's title? (its an 1989 honda civic)

6) In regards to affidavits from friends confirming our relationship,
is there a required number? I can get between 2-5 affidavits, is that
sufficient? Or is there such a thing as too many???

Other than this we have our bank statements, insurance policy,
jewellery appraisal.

Please reply to our questions. Anything based on your knowledge or
experience. Also, any input regarding this matter or advice would be
highly appreciated.

Thank you all. =)

You only need a representative sampling, i.e. 2 or 3, not one for every month you have been married.

2) My wife does not have good credit. I have 5 credit cards. Her name
appears on the invoice of two of them. She has supplemental cards for
4 of them, in her name. The question is do I need to include ALL the

Again you don't need all of this. One or two is sufficient. Copy a few of the statements with both names.

3) Do I need to copy all the pages of the bills or just the front page
would be sufficient? In case of credit cards, I could include the
transaction page too.??
Bring the whole bill but only provide copies of the front of the statement.

4) We have filed our taxes together for the past three years. I will
be including a copy of those. Do I still need to include a copy of
each of my pay stub for the last three years? Or the tax copies are
sufficient? I could include a letter from my employer confirming the
status of my employment.?
If you are using copies of your IRS statements instead of official IRS tax transcripts include your W-2's. You need a letter from your employer and only the most current paystub. If it makes you more comfortable you can include a few more.

5) Only my wife's name is on the title of our car. However, both of
our names appear on the insurance policy. Is it better if both our
names are on the car's title? (its an 1989 honda civic)
Just the insurance is find. My husband and I own our cars separately but share the same policy.

6) In regards to affidavits from friends confirming our relationship,
is there a required number? I can get between 2-5 affidavits, is that
sufficient? Or is there such a thing as too many???
Not necessary as it is only one means of providing your marriage. If you want to include do so. Any number is okay.

Other than this we have our bank statements, insurance policy,
jewellery appraisal.

Please reply to our questions. Anything based on your knowledge or
experience. Also, any input regarding this matter or advice would be
highly appreciated.

Thank you all. =)
Good luck

Hi:

Rete's comments are right on. You are way overworried. You don't need those affidavits. On the tax returns, I don't think you need your w-2's since the idea is to show JOINT returns - you don't need to show the income.

We only showed a bill and bank statement with both our names from one
sample month of each year we were married. Included copies of the tax
returns for 3 years and some envelopes addressed to both of us. We included
our child's birth certificate (copy actually) and DID NOT include any
affidavits from friends. We did not have any jointly owned property to show
(only a copy of rent statements with both names) since at that time my wife
did not drive we did not have a car or insurance in her name. Our petition
was approved with NO interview and NO RFI. Don't overdue it, they want proof
but don't want to wade through a 200 page file you submit!

Good luck!
