I-751 Approved :)
Hi all,
just checking back in to update everyone. I filed my I-751 in late November 2006, I did my fingerprints and new picture on Jan 2nd 2007 and yesterday Saturday 17th I got my new card in the mail. APPROVED
So about 2 and a half months from filing to approval.
Next stop for me is citizenship
Thanks so much to everyone who have helped me through this process it has been greatly appreciated

Man, Patrick, but you were born under a lucky immigration star. Glad to hear you aced this one in record time as you did the AOS.

I got a letter with the green card attached on one side and on the other side it said "Your application has been approved". Not a letter like other notifications, very "matter of fact" type wording.
Yes Andrea you has your stuff done what seems a long time before me. It must be that the California center is processing these fast, my was through the Laguna Niguel center.

Congrats!!!
Nice to know CSC is moving along on the applications. two and half month is not bad at all. We waited four month and we thought it was fast because the website says 6 months for this type of application.
I'll be filling for citizenship in 3 months.

Congrats, Patrick.
As always, I'm about 2-3 months behind you in this process..
First eligible I-751 date was ~Jan 20, but I'm waiting for tax transcripts
to be finished for '06 (so I can send '05 and '06 transcripts), and waiting
to receive birth certificate of our daughter, born Dec 27.
I have until April 19 to submit, so I'm about 1 month behind the "earliest
possible filing" date..
