Numerous reasons as to why I'm confident but mainly:
A. I'm a believer in positive thinking nets positive results.
B. My circumstances. My situation isn't a simple intentional overstay situation (if that is a realistic statement to make). Part of my AOS paperwork was lost in the post. The lost paperwork resulted in my application for AOS being terminated because it was deemed abandoned. I left voluntarily when this was discovered and have done everything above board to get back home. I met with a consulate officer in London and they even said that if I applied for the K1 visa, the overstay would not be an issue.

Ultimately I think you need to be very positive and I would absolutely recommend using a competant immigration lawyer to assist you with the I601 if you have to file. Those guys have the experience and knowledge to make it more favourable.

Good luck

CharlieS,
I heard that they approve a high percentage of waivers in London. Why are you feeling so confident, is it because of the waiver you are putting togetherTonya

Hi mrs. Nashua,

Please stay calm. Killing yourself over what is happening to you is not going to help! I undersatnd how you feel because I am going thru the same, and believe me, sometimes I can't sleep or eat or do anything like a normal person. But then I just try to be positive!!! Please keep your spirit high. God will help you and there will be light at the end of the tunnel!
Take care!
Tonya

People rarely kill themselves in an attempt to help - they kill
themselves to avoid further pain. Besides I did not see any mention of
suicide above.

Real programmers don't document. If it was hard to write, it should be
to understand.

Charlie,

I am very pleased to report that my fiance was granted his visa on
11/14. He picked it up the next day. I am still numb as I have been
holding my breathe for the past 2 weeks. Feels really good to
exhale! I am so relieved. They didn't even ask him about his past
experience. Now on to the next step. I totally agree with you about
positive thinking. That, along with a lot of prayer, has gotten us to
this point. I wish you all the best on your immigration journey and
hope for the same positive outcome.

Regards,
Alysis
