Default I-485 Adjustment of Status in California

Does anyone know what's wrong with the BCIS ?

They haven't approved I-485 in over a year. no movement. They are creating
huge backlogs of millions of people waiting for I-485 which will never
arrive as the I-485 work completely stopped.

- Does anyone know why BCIS is not doing I-485's anymore?
- Any hope for I-485 people who are waiting for over two years for the
adjustment?
- What's going on there?
- Have they decided to cancel the work based greencards by simply never
completing I-485's?

No one appears to know why the processing stopped. Not even the BCIS. What's
going on here??????

Is it not clear? It is always better for government to have continuously
millions of slaves, crawling at the mighty BCIS feet and begging for permit
to work or travel each year, instea d of permanent residents, moving
toward citizenship. In addition to that, why should BCIS work too much when
they can avoid work at all.

Their logic escapes me. Your greencard is pending for years because they
claim they have no man power. So they give you interim paperwork to work and
travel, but they limit the expiration of those papers to a year, by then
naturally your process is not over and you have to bug them with renewals
which take more of the manpower they claim they don't have.

This is however the greatest country ever :-)
