For those of you going the I-130 route through Montreal... We had said we'd keep each other posted about developments and timelines. Well I just called the NVC this morning and found out that our case had been "completed".. I think that's good news. Now we are just waiting for the interview letter. Here's the timeline-

Mailed I-130 to NSC: March 9, 2002
1st NOA date: March 21, 2002
I-130 approved: Sept 6, 2002
DS3032 received: Oct 7, 2002
DS3032 sent : Oct 8, 2002
Rich received I-864: Oct 15, 2002
Sent out I-864: Oct 24, 2002
Fee Bill ($335) received: Nov 10, 2002
Sent Fee bill: Nov 21, 2002
Received Packet 3: Dec 23, 2002
Mailed Packet 3: Dec 26, 2002
Received Document Request: Jan 30, 2003
Mailed Document: Feb 22, 2003
Case completed: March 5, 2003

Waiting for interview date. If I had a guess, I'd say it will be somewhere around late April- mid May.. But of course, you never know with these guys..

12/05 receive AOS fee bill from NVC
12/05 return AOS fee to St. Louis
12/09 receive ACL (ds3032?)
12/10 return ACL to NVC
1/3/03 receive ds-230 fee bill
1/4/03 send ds-230 fee to St. Louis
1/6/03 receive I-864 package
1/7/03 send I-864
2/5/03 receive packet 3
2/15/03 send packet 3

Expecting an interview somewhere in May/June if things go well (a good time to visit Montreal, I guess)
