I-130 right?
My wife joined me in California on a K1 visa in April 2000. We have been
married since then. My wife has a son in the Philippines who is now age 17,
we would like to petition to bring him here to live with us in California.
Can you assist me in the right process for this? Is the form I-130 the
correct form to use? also, within this group are there any folks that can
give me lessons learned from their experience with filing the I-130?
Thanks in Advance

Yes, you (not your wife) would file the I-130 to bring her son here.
As a permanent resident, she could file an I-130, but that would take
years longer than if you file. As long as you became his stepparent
before age 18, then you can file for him as your "child"
