Default I-130 Processing Times with Adam Walsh Act filed from Toronto

I am a Canadian citizen married to US citizen. Our I-130 was forwarded
to USCIS from Montreal Consulate. We filed I-130 in Toronto US
Consulate in Nov, 2006 and recently my wife the petitioner was
fingerprinted at Toronto Consulate.

I wanted to get a better idea of processing times as we want to plan
for our move to US.

Regards,
Gurvinder

It'll take between 6 and 8 months... maybe more, maybe less.

That is the first I have heard of a USC being re-called to the Consulate for a fingerprint check.
I wonder if your wife got a name hit in the Adam Walsh check?

Previous petitioners are just now getting a letter from Montreal to schedule/reschedule their visa application interviews. It's basically a wild a$$ guess as to how long your case will take.
