Default I 130 form

Hi everybody.

We have married last week in Turkey. My husband now go back to USA. He lives in USA for 20 years. This week he will post I 130 form.

I would like to ask if there is any idea how much time does it take to complete process.

We will also apply for K3 visa.

It is very difficult to wait for it.

Please give me idea..

merhaba ofelya,

Just a rough estimate, could take anywhere from 6 months to a year, depending on many factors such as where your husband lives in the USA, whether security checks will take long, how fast Ankara processing the case, etc. I know the waiting is very difficult, just be patient. This is only the beginning.

Best Wishes, and congratulations on your marriage!

evet, turkce bilyorim - just a little bit. My husband speaks fluent Turkish, and I learned some from him. I would say about 9 to 12 months is a good estimate for you, if everything goes very smoothly with no problems. The waiting is difficult, but it's worth it to spend your life with the one you love.

You can email me at [email protected] if you'd like to keep in touch!

Best Wishes,
Rene

By the way, is your husband a U.S. Citizen? Just wanted to make sure, because if he's not, it will take much longer.
