hi, i have 2 questions on the i-130:
1) question 13, I got my citizenship through my parents
naturalization.. however i have no idea what this 'certificate of
citizenship' is. When and where get this? also is it a problem if i
just don't have one?
2) question 16, does "immigration proceedings" include previous
applications for permanent residency? the choices in that question
make it seem like it's a bad thing.. (removal, exclusion/deportation,
recission, judicial proceedings)
do i answer no?
thanks much for any help!!.. please email [email protected]

1. You may not have one. There are several ways to document derivative naturalization. If you have a passport that will be just fine.
2. The reference is to Immigration Court proceedings before an Immigration Judge -- those are old style "deportation" and "exclusion", new style "removal", "rescission." For some reason they don't mention proceedings by an alien seeking permission to leave the US.
