RFE was that BCIS need:
1.proof of my citizenship,
2.marriage certificate in english and original

I already gave them a birth certificate, but guess that was not good
enough, so I must submit a copy of US.passport. I also gave them a
copy of my marriage certificate in english(original). I really do not
know what else to do here? Do they expect original Another question is
should I send corrections for the mistake I found on my I-129F?

Sounds like we are going through the same procedure, in about the same time
frame. I have my first Notice of Action (NOA) from Lincoln, NE dated Sept.
15. In 15 more days, I will be at the minimum time for them to approve my
petition (150-180 days). I called the 1-800 number today, and entered my
receipt number, and got recorded information that contained nothing that was
not already on my NOA letter. I wonder if that is a good sign?

Does anyone have any information on how long it takes for the Lincoln, NE
office to process a I-129F, these days?

FYI, before I submitted my application, I had an immigration lawyer review
the paperwork, and he also had me change a few N/As and Nones.

David S,
Please call either your Congressman or Senator(s) to have them do an
inquiry into your case.

I initiated an inquiry with the NBC three weeks ago, but haven't heard anything back yet (surprise, surprise). I called them up and they said that I need to wait 30 days after initiating an inquiry, at which point they would issue another inquiry.

Any ideas on whether I should contact my congressman/senator now itself or just wait another week for the 30 days to expire? I'm wondering that if the congressman initiates another inquiry, will they just see that I already have one pending? It's been about 53 days since they received my response to the RFE.

Amol,
I also had intiated an inquiry with USCIS, I still went ahead and
called the Congressman R. Emmanuel. Within one week of calling the
Congressman, I got an RFE; After I got the RFE, I called back the
USCIS and told them to pull out the inquiry.
