Hi,
So our story is - I am from the UK my fiance is from the USe - been together 4 years & engaged to marry.
I-129F sent off in Jan - USCIS received Jan 15th 2014 - NOA1 received by us Jan 17th 2014 -- Since then ..nothing!
Our application is in Texas - and I know the processing times on the website says 5 months - but we are now coming up to 4 months.. I just want to hear something! Just wondered how quickly other peoples applications are happening at the minute.
Also does anyone know how long the applications are for at the NVC -- I know soon as it gets to London it moves a lot quicker but just wondered how fast/slow the NVC part is!
Just really want to be out there with my guy now!!
Thanks! Amie

We'll hit 5 months in a couple of weeks. TSC have definitely slowed down recently. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do but wait and, trust me, I know how frustrating that is!
It usually takes 2-6 weeks to get through NVC but obviously YMMV.

I had a little bit of hope when they updated their processing times again yesterday and it still says 5 months rather than the last date of the one they processed cause I know that means they are behind...but if you're coming up to 5 months soon and you've not heard anything they are obviously behind!!
Thanks for the relpy! Hope you hear something soon!!

Keep in mind that 5 months is the average time. You (like most people) will likely fall somewhere in the range of 4-6 months. This is normal and nothing to be worried about. The wheels of US immigration turn slowly, but they do turn.
Not an uncommon sentiment.
Try not to get too bogged down in timelines, for they surely pave the road to madness. The entire process will take 8-10 months... focus on the long-term, not the short-term.

It took a year from sending in the application to me getting an interview at the US embassy.
It could have been a quicker by 4 months but we received a letter asking for further evidence the day we left for Brazil for a month and then I stayed a couple of months here in the US to see some concerts before returning to the UK.
Everything seems to be a month... the medical was a month after the phone call and the interview another month of waiting.
At the moment I am waiting for the interview after having biometrics taken a month after submitting my I485.
