The package from Eddie with his "letter of intent" arrived today, and the I-129F packet is
going out tomorrow. I followed directions from various web sites. Each non-form page has
"I-129F Original Submission" typed on it, with my name, and is signed. The pictures are in
trimmed CD plastic covers. It is 2 hole punched and bound with a prong fastener. I used
bottom tab dividers to identify the locations of the various items. I included two
attachments to the I-129F, one explaining my fiancé's name - he has two middle names, and
his common name is one of them, and one describing how we met, when we met in person the
first time, and a bit about our relationship and wedding plans. I included a photocopy of
his internet proposal (he formally proposed in the newsgroup in which we met), and photos
of him giving me my ring, and a wedding invitation, and letters of intent from each of us.
Also, copies of plane tickets from each trip out here, with a photo to accompany each and
a notarized letter from a co-worker who saw us together on both occasions.

I want to thank everyone who answered my questions when I posted, and also those who
answered other's questions and provided me with useful information. I also want to thank
all of you who maintain web pages to help those of us trying to understand this process,
especially Jonathan and Alveena, whose clear information, checklists, and examples were
invaluable. I didn't need a lawyer to do this, but I would have without the information I
found here.

I opted to handle as much of the immigration stuff as possible, since Eddie is pretty busy
packing and sorting through 10 years of "stuff". I didn't really realize what I was
getting into. I can only hope that I dotted all my I's and crossed all my t's. I checked
and re-checked and read and re-read and tried to get it all right. I know that if I missed
something it will hopefully be minor, and at the worst, will require that I send more
evidence, but... I really hope I got it all right.

Thanks again. Now onto the "waiting". I'll let you know what the timeline seems to
be running.

Sounds like you have it all together. Good luck to you both!
