Default hypothetical AOS timeline

My husband and I married on 6/30/01 and had our AOS interview on 1/9/03. We
haven't heard anything since then. If it is after 6/30/03 (our 2nd
anniversary) when we hear from INS, will they give me an unconditional green
card? Or is it the interview date they look at and not the card receipt
date?

Thanks,
Kim

How ironic and cruel. I'll bet they can't even answer that one themselves!

Hi:

If the case is finally adjudicated after your second wedding anniversery, you are NOT subject to the 2-year condition. However, sometimes mistakes are made and the card is issued for two years. If that should happen, file an I-90 without fee to get a proper card.
