Husband not accompanying Visitor Visa - Chennai Consulate
Hello All,
My mother-in-law is having Visitor Visa(B2) interview on Sept 15th
in American Consulate Chennai-India. Her husband is not accompanying
along with her to USA.
What questions they might ask for her and what she should answer them
to get Visitor Visa. We do not want to reject her visa. I'll
appreciate if you provide me help in this regard asap.
Thanks

I don't think you have much to worry about. The magic word is 'ties'. She
had to convince the consular officer that she will return to India by
demonstrating 'ties' to her home country, job, house, kids etc. And what
better tie is there than having a husband to go back to? :)
