How to start wife's GC application

I'm on a H1 visa, and I'm going through the process of applying for the GC. I filled
the 485 form last year but it hasn't been approved, to the best of my knowledge. I
just got married and my wife has a H4 visa. What do I do next? Someone told me I
could add my wife to my GC application. How exactly does that work?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
