How long to recieve green card in the mail??
Hello,
My husband and I just returned from the Louisville office where his
passpost was stamped with the PR stamp and told the green card is in
the mail. The INS officer said it could take about 6 months to recieve
his green card, but they have been alittle quicker.
Anyone out there with recent expeiernces in recieving your PR green
card in the mail in less that 6 months? Any feedback would be
appreciated.
Thanks

Hey,
I don't know how different our situations are, but we came through the
process with a Spousal Immigrant Visa (I-130), and after a year we still
have no physical green card. I've heard it can be up until 2 years.

DJ Dude... if this is in this past year, you might want to look at an InfoPass appointment.. you should've had your card by now.

As opposed to those other "Fast" SF posters.. I received the I-551 stamp in
my passport on April 19.
It's almost May 19, and no sign yet. Of course, me posting this probably
means it'll show up today :-)

Hey Tazzmin,
I sent you a PM ages ago about the N400 process and never heard back from you... just wondering if you still need answers.
