I think I may hold the record on this group

AOS interview - December 23, 2002

Still waiting for approval!

That's ok...my two year wedding anniversary comes up on July 1 so now
I'm hoping no approval till after that date so I can go 10 year
greencard instead of 2 year conditional.

Ray, which office did your friend applied for AOS? IF it's in Miami that will make me jealous

Mine's gonna be one year next week and you guessed it...STILL WAITING!

Hi PF ..it was Tampa.. but what was good I though, I booked her appointment for her thru the web site..and got a date for next thurs (8 days) for going in to get her stamp... she could have one for mon (5 days) but only had a 6.30am time available, but its an hour away, and as I have to drive her, No way I am getting up at 5am.. her 2 years were up in Nov 03 and it is a 10 yr GC she will be getting
Hopefully, yours, Margarets and Nobbys and others will be very soon...

Thanks!

LATIFA
Hi Everyone:

I want to start a new thread where people can post the amount of time they had been waiting to hear from BCIS after a successful interview because of reasons like background check etc.
To start with I'll post my timing:

Interview was on 23rd May, 2003 in Santa Ana, CA, still waiting.

Cheers,
Ben [/QUOTE]

Thanks Latifa.. you reminded me too come back to PF...
It all went easy..drove to Tampa.. told the security she was not feeling well so could I come in with her.. they were very nice and agreed.. went in... 10 minutes later called up to desk..took her EAD stamped her passport.. said GC should arrive within a year and was out the door and away in 12 mins.. GC arrived in mail 8 days later. Another happy USCIS customer...

Congratulations Ray. Hang in there Fiona.

My son and I had our interviews on December 23, 2002 however I went in
for re-fingerprinting a couple of weeks ago and submitted hubby's 2003
tax return for the two of us.

Still waiting.......

Yup I can see it now - approval dated June 30th. Day before my second
wedding anniversary.
