Why is that mostly non Christian religions have a problem with that? If I were a wished a happy Hanukkah or kwansa etc and is was said with good meaning I would take it that way.

I realise that the differences are huge depending on where we live within the US. Of the places that I've been to here LA is the place where I've felt the most unwelcome and therefore the place I've disliked the most (waiting for LL comments on what a great place it is 
). I live amongst some of the nicest people I have ever met, honestly. I've never been in a place where I've made so many friends so quickly, I seem to fit right it and that makes me love it here. Having said that, I'm lucky to be where I am, it's always sunny, people are friendly, it's really stunning, it's safe... I mean, there is no reason not to be happy in a place like this!! I'm amazed by the fact that most of my clients cuddle me, in England people saved their cuddles for xmas only!! and in Spain, where we just kiss each other all the time, I don't remember ever kissing any of my clients...

Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty or other similar legal action? Have you ever unlawfully distributed or sold a controlled substance(drug), or been a prostitute or procurer for prostitutes?
Have you ever been refused admission to the U.S., or been the subject of a deportation hearing or sought to obtain or assist others to obtain a visa, entry into the U.S., or any other U.S. immigration benefit by fraud or willful misrepresentation or other unlawful means? Have you attended a U.S. public elementary school on student (F) status or a public secondary school after November 30, 1996 without reimbursing the school?
Do you seek to enter the United States to engage in export control violations, subversive or terrorist activities, or any other unlawful purpose? So I've been thinking about this all day..(and it bloody hurt I tell you)..and I've been in the US for about 7 yrs now (up and down the East Coast) and find that the people I meet everyday is the biggest variation I have found with the two countries.... and I never thought I'd say this... but history does actually play a part in my life....(its the first argument I usually have with a narrow minded person)...the whole..."hey mate my Dad has got a pair of shoes older than your country"..but other than that its all good..
