It is funny you mention that, During my interview I asked the conof if he wanted to see evidence that ours is a bona fide marriage.. he laughed and said: Sorry to laugh but Maria.. no Spaniard gets married for the sake of a green card!... Hopefully my AOS will be just as easy!!

Yeah, I've got my parents, and in-laws working on gathering documentation for me now too lol. My main concerns right now are that the courts in Canada don't want to give us a letter saying no court record exists, and we need it, as I have been arrested as a minor (all that stuff gets destroyed once you turn 18 though...) I don't think they're understanding what we're asking so hopefully they figure it out. That and I'm confused about having to re-do the I-864

Do I have to do a new I-864? The appointment letter says I need to, but like I just submitted the first one 2 months ago, so nothing has changed. Also, it says we need the tax returns, W2s and an official IRS printout... what is the IRS printout? How do we even get that?
Also, if we have to re-do it, do they base it on what my husband makes NOW, or what he made on his last 3 years tax returns? Now he makes above the amount we need to, but its not reflected on his tax returns as its a recent (within the past six months) development. Its not a huge deal if we have to get his parents to co-sponser us (thats how it was on the original I-864 that we submitted with the application), but if we don't need to, we'd rather not hassle them...
Basically.. help? hah

Since he now qualifies on his own, you might want to go ahead and do a new one, so your co-sponsors don't have to be on it. They just care about his current income. He'll show pay stubs and an employment letter to prove that. He'll include the past 3 years tax returns (they're referring to IRS transcripts, I believe, and those can be ordered by calling the IRS 800 number. It's free and they get mailed to you). His past tax returns can be under the minimum, that's ok...as long as his current income is over the limit. Personally, I'd do a new one, since now he qualifies on his own

I think you hit the nail on the head as to why they want a new I-864, currently their records are showing he has not enough income to sponsor you, so they are looking for more up to date income. You can call the IRS 1800 number from the IRS website and get tax transcripts sent out, is fully automated and so you can do as long as you have his info, takes around 10 days to receive them.
