Default help needed!

we are wanting to go live in the states and have had a consultation....now....my husband is a cad operater/project manager in construction....we have been told he could qualify for a h1b visa but obviously we would have to submit our application before april and we would not find out untill october......so we are at the moment going to do the e2 route....although this scares me so much....risking all our money....so we thought why not try to find a job and apply for a h1b and if anything happens great......so what i am asking really is.....does anyone know of anywere to search for jobs in this field.....

H1B, you can't apply till April....cost s a few grand so if your not commited, that's a bit of a waste, as well as a position in the quota as that quota is for applications, not visa's granted as far as I understand it.

As for jobs,

monster, careerbuilder
www.craiglist.org
http://www.job-hunt.org/

http://www.core77.com/
http://www.coroflot.com/

Those last two are more specific for cad monkies and designers...

.

the employer submits and pays the fees for the H1B, so you biggest problem is finding an employer to sponser you.

If your husband get's an H1...and you don't get your own visa on your own and come over as an H4 spouse, you won't be allowed to work...
